라힘 마샤히 이란 부통령은 13일 밤 한국관광공사(사장:오지철)가 주관한‘이란 관광의 밤’행사를 통해 양국간 관광교류와 투자사업 활성화를 강조했다.
마샤히 부통령은 한국과 이란은 오랜 역사를 가진 나라로, 공통점이 많고 앞으로 한국기업들의 대 이란 투자(投資)사업을 적극 지원하겠다고 밝혔다.
한편, 오지철 사장은 답사를 통해, Lonely Planet이란 책에서 이란은 아름답고, 매력적인 우정의 나라라고 표현되었듯이, 한국은 이제 이란을 경제적인 파트너이자 관광교류의 동반자로 생각해야 한다고 말했다.
특히 오 시장은 관광교류에 앞서 兩國간 문화교류의 인프라를 강조해 이란 측의 초점을 받았다.
