【시사 프라임/국법일보】 DMZ관광(사장 장승재)은 다가오는 6월 “호국 보훈의 달”을 맞아 6월 10일(수) 6.25전쟁 및 베트남전쟁 참전용사와 보훈단체 임직원을 평화 안보현장인 경기 연천군 열쇠전망대 일원 및 군부대로 초청한다고 밝혔다.
행사지역은 지난해 3월 연천군과 육군 제5사단 간에 ‘안보현장체험 활성화를 위한 협약’이 체결되어 철책선 따라걷기, 평화염원 리본달기, 병영식 먹어보기, 군부대 막사체험 등 국내유일의 DMZ 철책선 및 군부대 체험이 가능한 곳이다.

특히 투어 일정 중 DMZ 철책선따라 걷기와 DMZ 철책에 평화를 염원하는 리본달기 이벤트는 참가하신 어르신들에게 많은 관심을 불러올 것으로 예상된다.
또한 관계자에 따르면 군부대 방문을 통한 군내무반 시설 견학 및 병영식사 체험을 함으로써 민과 군이 하나가 되는 자리가 될 것이라고 전했다.
참가 신청은 6월 5일(금)까지 DMZ관광 홈페이지(www.dmztourkorea.com/ 맞춤여행) 또는 팩스 (02-706-2132)로 가능하며 선착순 마감이므로 빨리 지원하는 신청자에게 유리하다.
DMZ관광 장승재 사장은 “6.25전쟁과 베트남전쟁에 참전해서 국가와 민족을 위해 몸바친 어르신들을 초청해 작으나마 위로의 자리를 마련하였다”며 “앞으로 매년 6월 호국보훈의 달과 10월에는 6.25전쟁 UN참전국의 주한외국인을 대상으로 무료 초청 투어프로그램을 지속적으로 운영할 계획” 이라고 말했다.
한편 이 행사는 휴전선 DMZ일원의 전문업체 DMZ관광에서 초청투어관련 경비 일체를 부담하며 사)21세기군사연구소, 연천군, 5사단, 경기관광공사에서 후원한다.
