민들레울 김양식 CEO의 자연(自然)과 철학(哲學) 이야기
경상남도 거창에 허브농장을 겸한 휴양지 명소(名所)가 있다.
다양한 향기와 맛을 지난 허브와 올리브유, 그리고 허브 고추장을 배합한 한끼의 식사 ‘허브꽃밥’의 이끌림보다 더 짜릿한 체험이 우리를 유혹한다.
경치가 빼어난 월성계곡을 배경삼아 세워진 ‘민들레울’은 모암정, 허브 체험장을 비롯 온실까지도 갖추고 있다.
허브 체험장에서는 허브 비누를 비롯, 허브 치약, 화장품, 아로마 향초, 허브 키우기등 다양한 자연농장을 체험할 수 있다.
무주 리조트로부터 자동차로 30분이내의 거리에 위치한 이곳이 최근 주한 인도대사관으로부터 주목을 받고있다.
이곳에 조만간 인도의 전통의학인 아유르베다(Ayurveda) 체험 시스템이 도입되기 때문이다. 민들레울 김양식 CEO는 아유르베다는 인도의 5000년 문화유산(遺産)이라며 ‘가능하다면 인도의 허브.약초문화까지도 도입, 이곳에 국내 최초로 인도문화체험관을 만들고 싶다’고 밝혔다.
김양식 CEO에 따르면, 아유르베다는 문화이자 인간철학(人間哲學)이라는 것.
자연에 관심을 가지고 자연을 이용한 사업을 펼치게 된 그는 사실 대구.경북지역의 전문 산꾼이었다.
“ 암벽을 오를때는 바위와 대화를 한다고 생각합니다. 또 겨울에 빙폭을 오를때는 나와 빙벽이 몰아일체(沒我一體) 되기도 합니다 ”
자연의 소중함을 인간의 삶의 철학과 결부시키기를 원하는 그는 허브농장과 향기요법을 도입해 거창에 허브농장 ‘민들레울’을 세웠다.
한편, 민들레울은 전주대학교의 대체의학대학과 산학협력관계에 있기도 하다.

One rest area-based herb farm, which located in Geochang County of Gyungsang-South Province, has been focused by Indian Embassy to Seoul because of CEO´s fresh management philosophy that matched up with green nature.
It was ´Mindlewool´ that has wanted to be the first herb farm-based recreation center in Korea by importing Indian traditional healing system, Ayurveda.
The original meaning of Ayurveda is ´the scripture for life´. So it has been the core of India´s culture, as well as everything from ancient Indian philosophy, said Yang Sik, Kim, the CEO.
And he contined ´That´s why we hope to construct Indian Culture Experience Hall here,and if possible, I want to work as a cultural envoy between India and Korea´
Actually ´Mindlewool´ has become a talk of the town because of its eco-friendly rest area filled with everything from herb and aroma.
But from this year on, he had decided to set up another culture-based castle after much deliveration.
"Firstly I could think of no better plan. But this spring when I participated a forum for Ayurveda in Seoul, I made a decision WHY Ayurveda !"
"Because there has been something in common between my business and Ayurveda.
I dare to say, the both came from the nature, and derived from humanitarianism which focused on human dignity" he added.
