대만 겨냥한 1,000 여기 미사일 철폐 촉구한 마잉주 총통

마잉주 총통은 10월 19일 로이터 통신과의 인터뷰에서 “중국측에서 신해혁명100주년(중화민국 100주년)이 되는 2011년을 즈음해 정상회담 의사를 밝힌바 있다”며 “중국과의 정상회담 가능성을 배제하지 않지만 정해진것은 아무것도 없다”라고 말했다.

그러나 중국측이 대만을 향해 천 기가 넘는 미사일을 조준하고 있으며 그 수가 계속 늘어나고 있음을 언급하며 “먼저 미사일을 옮기거나 파괴하는 등 미사일에 관한 적절한 조치가 있어야 평화회담이 가능하다. 이는 대만 국민들의 중대한 관심사 ”라고 강조했다.

Especially regarding the peace treaty between the both, Ma urged Beijing to withdraw or dismantle more than 1,000 missiles it currently has aimed at Taiwan, saying that “if we are to negotiate a peace agreement with the mainland, certainly we expect them to do something about those missiles.
