The Korean government announced plans to further develop service industries recently.
On that day, a total of 51 experts, 35 from the private sector and 8 from the government ministries, attended the meeting, where the plans were decided and announced.
At the meeting, 9 service industries were chosen to be nurtured as they are highly value-added and job-creating, and have great potential for growth and service account improvement.
Meanwhile, the 9 industries are education, medical services, logistics, broadcasting and communication, content providing businesses, consulting services, design, IT services and employment agencies.
정부는 최근 서비스산업의 경쟁력을 강화하기위해, 51명의 분야전문가를 비롯 각계각층의 인사들과 합동 회의를 갖고, 서비스 산업 육성에 대해 논의했다.
정부는 한국의 서비스 산업이 일자라 나누기는 물론, 고부가가치산업임을 재확인 했고, 9개분야의 서비스 산업을 새로운 발번모델로 선정했다.
한편, 이날 정부측이 결정한 유망 서비스 산업 9개 분야는 교육, 물류, 의료관광, 방송및 통신, 콘텐츠, 컨설팅, 디자인, IT 서비스, 그리고 고용중개업 등이다.
